A long-sleeve training top needs coverage without restricting shoulder movement. Identify whether it is worn alone or below another layer before choosing body ease and sleeve proportions.

Buying notes
Long sleeves for training, warm-ups and cooler mornings.
A long-sleeve training top is usually worn one of two ways: on its own for cool-weather sessions, or as a base layer under a jacket. Decide which before the first sample, because it changes the body ease and the sleeve shape.
01
Sleeves that stay in place
Raglan sleeves give a freer overhead reach; set-in sleeves look neater under a jacket. Thumbholes keep cuffs down during warm-ups but add a finishing detail to approve, so mark them as optional in the brief if you are unsure.
02
Visibility for early and late sessions
Reflective heat-transfer details, which SenLin can apply, add visible accents for low-light runs. They are decoration rather than certified high-visibility protection, so describe them that way on your own product pages.
03
Test it in the layering system
Try the sample under the jacket or vest your wearers actually use. Bunching at the elbows, or a cuff that rides up when the arm reaches forward, is far easier to correct before grading than after bulk production.

Performance Long Sleeves — specification decisions
Decision
Options to discuss
What to approve
Sleeve route
Raglan or set-in construction
Compare overhead reach and seam placement across the shoulder.
Sleeve opening
Open hem, cuff or optional thumbhole
Agree wrist circumference, sleeve length and comfort with the chosen opening.
Layering
Closer or more relaxed proportions
Try the intended outer layer and check bunching at elbows and underarms.
Before approving your performance long sleeves sample
Check both relaxed posture and elbow bend. A sleeve that looks correct on a flat table can still pull at the cuff during movement; record that issue with a marked sample photograph.

Before you enquire
Your product questions, answered.
What fabric and sizes are confirmed for performance long sleeves?+
Long sleeves use the same confirmed training fabric as the performance tees: 80–90% polyester or polyamide (nylon) with elastane, from 180 g/m² up to just below 250 g/m². Sizes run S–5XL, and the 1–2 cm garment tolerance applies to sleeve length as well as the body.
Does long-sleeve coverage mean UV protection?+
No. Sleeve coverage alone does not establish a UV-protection rating. If UV protection is required, agree the test method and target for the selected material and request evidence before making a claim.
Can I add a DIY logo or print to a performance long sleeve?+
Yes. Choose a custom logo or print for the front chest, back, or both in the page configurator. Include artwork dimensions and placement; the method and result are approved on the selected stretch fabric before production.
