Buying notes
Inseam, liner and pockets decide how training shorts perform.
Two pairs of shorts can look identical on a hanger and behave very differently in a squat or a sprint. Brief the activity first, then the details.
01
Match the inseam to the activity
Shorter inseams suit running and sprint work, mid-length shorts suit gym training, and longer shorts suit coaching, staff and leisure wear. A range that serves more than one activity may need more than one inseam, and each one adds a line to the size matrix.
02
Decide the liner early
An unlined short, a brief liner and a compression inner short are three different garments to cost and approve. Record the liner length and fabric separately from the outer shell, so a later change does not alter the whole style.
03
Branding at the back waist or on the leg
Back-waist branding is the standard placement for SenLin shorts, and left- or right-leg logos are also common. Team numbers on the leg can be added with name-and-number personalisation; keep them clear of the pocket openings and the split hem.

Before you enquire
Your product questions, answered.
What fabric and size range are available for performance shorts?+
Training shorts use a lightweight stretch fabric of 80–90% polyester or polyamide (nylon) with elastane, between 180 g/m² and just below 250 g/m². Sizes run S–5XL with a 1–2 cm tolerance; list the liner and pocket fabrics separately if they differ from the shell.
Can I specify pockets and a liner?+
Include pocket opening, depth, closure and intended contents in the brief. For a liner, specify coverage and fit expectations. The proposed construction and price need a sample review before confirmation.
Can I add a custom logo or print to performance shorts?+
Yes. DIY branding is available as a custom logo or print, usually at the back waist; left- or right-leg placements are also common. Confirm on the sample that the artwork clears pockets, seams and high-stretch areas.
